The Sauti Yetu Foundation has donated eleven (11) wheelchairs to people with disabilities in Kasulu Town Council on October 18, 2025. The goal is to empower people with disabilities to engage in social and economic activities, including education. The wheelchairs were provided by the foundation with funding from the Workers' Compensation Fund (WCF) in a ceremony held at Bogwe Secondary School hall. This initiative is seen as a new hope for beneficiaries who were facing challenges accessing assistive devices. Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Kasulu Town Council Director, Vumilia J. Simbeye, who was the guest of honor, said non-governmental organizations play a significant role in contributing to community development and that the council is willing to continue working with them. He also called on development stakeholders, including individuals, to continue supporting people with special needs. The wheelchair donation ceremony is a result of the 2025 disability assessment program in Kasulu Town Council.

                      Sauti Yetu Foundation, in collaboration with the Binti Salama Foundation, today, August 23, 2025, conducted a charity event to distribute sanitary materials and towels to students studying at Msalato Girls' School in Dodoma city. Speaking during the event, the Acting Director of Our Voice Foundation, Mr. Raphael Philipo, encouraged the students to continue studying diligently while also urging them to live with love and solidarity. The event was attended by various leaders, including a member of the Non-Governmental Organizations Council in Dodoma region, Mr. Issaya Silungwe, accompanied by leaders from the Dodoma Rotary Club and the Evergreen Environmental Foundation. Speaking on behalf of the students of the school, one of the students expressed gratitude to the Sauti Yetu Foundation and Binti Salama Foundation for showing a unique spirit of caring for the students.

                      Acting Director of Sauti Yetu Foundation, Mr. Raphael Philipo, receiving a certificate of appreciation from the official guest on behalf of Sauti Yetu Foundation in recognition of the institution's contribution to the successful organization of the annual conference of non-governmental organizations in Dodoma. The conference took place on 22-23 July 2025 at Dear Mama Hotel hall in Dodoma city. The conference reviewed and evaluated the five-year contribution of non-governmental organizations to national development, as well as the various challenges facing the NGO sector in Dodoma. Additionally, strategic plans of NGOs in Dodoma were presented along with goals for the next five years, while a total of 65.9 billion shillings had been utilized to implement various projects over the past five years.

                            at the conference hall in the District Commissioner's Office in Kasulu Town Council, where the guest

                             We discussed the achievements, opportunities, challenges, and expectations for NGOs from the year 2020/21 to 2025. 
                             
                             Additionally, we also look forward to participating in the Regional Non-Governmental Organizations Forum on 
                             July 15, 2025, which will take place at Kigoma Social Hall in Kigoma/Ujiji Municipality, where the 
                             guest of honor is expected to be the Regional Commissioner of Kigoma, Hon. retired IGP Ambassador Simon N. Sirro.
                      Earlier today, during the regular duties of the leaders of the Sauti Yetu Foundation branch office located in Kasulu, Kigoma region, they took a tour to visit the Nishike Mkono Tanzania organization, where they reached agreements to collaborate on social activities through various development initiatives such as Education, Health, and Environment implemented by both organizations. Furthermore, among other matters, the management of Nishike Mkono Tanzania also pledged to support the campaign "Care for the Girl Child, Build a Better Tomorrow," which will take place on 09/05/2025 at Kumnyika Secondary School in Kasulu Town Council. The campaign was organized by the Sauti Yetu Foundation in collaboration with NFM Radio. In the discussions with Nishike Mkono Tanzania, the delegation from the Sauti Yetu Foundation was led by Idd M. Abdallah, Project Manager, Vitus Michael, Secretary of the Sauti Yetu Foundation Board, and Buga Omary, Communications Officer of the Sauti Yetu Foundation.

                      The Sauti Yetu Foundation participated in the commemorative celebrations of the death of the late Abeid Amani Karume, the First President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, by performing acts of kindness for children with special needs who are students at Hombolo Bwawani Primary School, distributing assistive devices including wheelchairs, food, drinks, and hygiene supplies.
